Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy describes how UAS Wildland Fire Collaborative ("UASWFC," "we," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website at uaswfc.org or interact with us through forms or email.

UASWFC is an Oregon nonprofit public benefit corporation. Our mailing address is 4951 Griffin Creek Rd, Medford, OR 97501. Our contact email is info@uaswfc.org.

What we collect

We collect the information you give us directly, and anonymous, aggregate statistics about how the website is used. Specifically:

• Contact form submissions. When you fill out our contact form, we receive the information you enter (name, email address, organization, role, subject, and message).
• Direct email. When you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
• Website statistics. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views, the sites that referred visitors, browser and device type, country, and how quickly pages load. It sets no cookies, does not build a profile of you, and does not follow you to other websites. We see totals, not individual visitors.

We do not use advertising trackers on uaswfc.org, and none of our own code sets a cookie. Most pages load only our own files and Cloudflare's statistics script. These load files or code from another service:

• The Support page. The donation form is provided by Givebutter. It loads Givebutter's scripts and the services Givebutter relies on: Google (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Maps), Facebook (Meta), Font Awesome, Cloudflare, and the payment processors Stripe and Braintree, including PayPal and Venmo. When we checked in Chrome on September 15, 2026, loading the form set cookies from Cloudflare (bot protection, on Givebutter's own domains) and Stripe (fraud prevention), and kept data in the browser's storage for Givebutter's own analytics and for Facebook's code. These are governed by Givebutter's privacy policy and those providers' policies, linked below.
• The pilot portal and the 360 panorama viewer. Every pilot portal page, including the public page for sharing fire data, loads its typeface from Google Fonts, and the panorama viewer loads its viewing code from jsDelivr, so those services receive your IP address and browser details when the page loads.
• Live video pages. Once you enter a feed's password, the video plays through Cloudflare Stream and the map draws its imagery and topographic tiles from Esri and the U.S. Geological Survey.

A fundraising progress bar, wherever we show one, is part of our own website. Our server reads the campaign's total from Givebutter, so the bar loads nothing from Givebutter in your browser, and that request carries no information about you.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may collect basic technical information (IP address, browser type, page requests) for security and performance purposes. This is standard for any website hosted on the internet. We do not access this information for marketing or profiling.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide for the following purposes:

• To respond to your inquiries
• To process and acknowledge donations made through our donation platform
• To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from public authorities
• To maintain records of communications relevant to our nonprofit work

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third party services we use

We rely on a small number of third party services to operate the website and our communications:

• Cloudflare (hosting, security, video for live feeds through Cloudflare Stream, and the cookieless website statistics described above). Cloudflare's privacy practices are described at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
• Web3Forms (contact form delivery). When you submit the contact form, the information you enter passes through Web3Forms and reaches our inbox as an email. Web3Forms' privacy practices are described at web3forms.com/privacy.
• Google Workspace (our email, including info@uaswfc.org). Google's privacy practices are described at policies.google.com/privacy.
• Givebutter (donation processing, donor receipts, recurring contribution management for the Support page). When you donate, your payment information is collected and processed by Givebutter and its underlying payment processors; UASWFC receives your name, email, mailing address (if provided), donation amount, and any message you include. The donation form loads Givebutter's own scripts and the services it relies on (Google, Facebook, Font Awesome, Cloudflare, Stripe, and Braintree with PayPal and Venmo), some of which set cookies or store identifiers in your browser. Givebutter's privacy practices are described at givebutter.com/privacy.
• Google Fonts, jsDelivr, Esri and the U.S. Geological Survey (a typeface, viewing code and map tiles on the pages named above). Their privacy practices are described at policies.google.com/privacy, jsdelivr.com, esri.com and usgs.gov.

These providers process information on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy policies and applicable laws.

How long we keep your information

We retain contact form submissions and direct email correspondence for as long as needed to respond to your request and maintain reasonable records of our work. We will not retain information longer than reasonably necessary.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Ask us what information we have about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information from our records (subject to any legal retention obligations we may have)
• Opt out of any future communications

To exercise any of these rights, email info@uaswfc.org with your request. We will respond within 30 days.

Oregon residents have additional rights under the Oregon Consumer Privacy Act. We will honor those rights for any Oregon resident regardless of whether our organization meets the statutory thresholds for OCPA applicability.

Children's privacy

The UASWFC website is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us at info@uaswfc.org and we will delete it.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we collect. We use industry standard hosting infrastructure and encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all form submissions. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of the page. For material changes, we will note them on our website.

Revised September 15, 2026. This revision corrects which pages load another service's files: Cloudflare's statistics script on every page, Google Fonts on the pilot portal, jsDelivr on the panorama viewer, and Cloudflare Stream, Esri and U.S. Geological Survey map tiles on live video pages. It also names the further services the Givebutter donation form loads (Google Tag Manager, Font Awesome, Cloudflare, PayPal and Venmo) and what the form set in a browser when we checked. It notes that our fundraising progress bar is drawn by our own website and loads nothing from Givebutter in your browser. And the contact page no longer runs a Cloudflare Turnstile check: the widget was removed the same day, because the form discarded its result. Nothing about how we use your information changed.

Revised September 14, 2026. This revision notes that a Givebutter fundraising progress bar, wherever we show one, loads the same scripts as the donation form. Nothing about how we use your information changed.

Revised September 13, 2026. This revision describes the cookieless website statistics we use, names Web3Forms as the service that delivers our contact form, updates how our email is hosted, and notes the scripts the Givebutter donation form loads. Nothing about how we use your information changed.
